Everything started out great. I contacted the company to complete a project that had been started by another vendor. The company was very responsive and Max V. came out to look at the project 48 hours after I inquired. After having been told by Max V. that we would have a proposal by the following Monday, that the cost would be "no more than $1,500," and that it would take three to seven days to complete, Max V. went radio dark. After one e-mail and one phone call, I received an e-mail that he was sorry for the delay and that I would have a proposal by Friday. Crickets....on the following Monday Monday, I received an e-mail that outlined several reasons why I would not want a proposal from Amramp....no parts, parts had to be ordered, too long to install, the cost was going to be more than the $1,500 originally quoted. It became clear that Amramp did not want our business and that Max V. was not courageous enough to tell us; therefore, he manufactured reasons why I would decline a formal proposal. In the process, we wasted two weeks and, subsequently, had to drag my father's wheelchair over the lawn. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Whatever your accessibility need, we have a solution!

Should you rent or buy? Amramp’s solution for every situation

You should buy if your ramp needs are expected to be longer than 5-6 months because the rental will add up to be more than the purchase price. In cases where you are not sure how long you will need the ramp, we suggest that you start off renting. And if at any time it appears that you will be keeping the ramp, we will convert up to 75% of the rental paid and apply that toward your ramp purchase.

Or, if you’re like Trinity Church, perhaps you’re not sure how long you’ll need a ramp. Amramp has a solution: Start off renting; you can convert 75% of the rental fee to purchase your ramp. Once the famed Copley Square landmark had its ramp rental installed, parishioners so raved about the ramp, church decided to purchase the modular ramp system outright, forever providing access to all.
