The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) hosts its annual Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) next week, and Amramp is thrilled to be a part of it. On February 3rd-6th, 2014, more than 10,000 physical therapy professionals from across the country gather in Las Vegas, Nevada, to take classes in the 18 different specialty sections of the APTA, each of which focuses on a different aspect of physical therapy. The CSM allows physical therapists to gain knowledge about diverse topics and focuses within the field, all at one centralized location.

More than 600 lectures, presentations, and group meetups take place at this one event! Attendees have the chance to earn up to 19 contact hours/CCUs through the classes they take at CSM. Other highlights include section networking events and happy hours, as well as regional meetings. Alumni also gather at physical therapy reunion events for schools including Andrews University, Cleveland State, University of Colorado, Columbia University, University of Florida, Fresno State, Ithaca College, University of Maryland, University of Michigan, Midwestern University, Mount St. Mary’s College, UNC, University of North Dakota, Ohio University, Shenandoah University, University of St. Augustine, Temple University, University of Washington, and many more.
Another innovative element of the conference: Developed and submitted by 2014 APTA CSM participants, more than 900 fascinating platform presentations and 900 poster presentations, detailing researched studies and case reports on unique topics in the field, will be displayed.
The Venetian Hotel and Sands Expo Center hosts the CSM and where attendees will find Amramp’s booth, along with 400 companies who will be showcasing their products and services to the therapists in attendance.
