The Amramp Team is dedicated to making life accessible

About Us

Founded in 1998 by Julian Gordon, Amramp has continued to grow as the leading provider of modular wheelchair ramps and other accessibility solutions.

About the Amramp Team

The Amramp Team manufactures our modular wheelchair ramps in historic Boston, Massachusetts. Take a look at the behind-the-scenes action in our video above.

We started more than 40 years ago as a producer of architectural metal items used by contractors and architects. We produced stairs, rails, fire doors and security products for doors and windows.

In 1998 we patented a unique modular ramp system that has become our signature product. We have expanded our product line to include other products that make life accessible.

Today, we have 45 locations and growing across the United States and Canada. Each of our locations has local inventory so we can accommodate your accessibility needs quickly.

Supporting Communities

Every ramp we install changes someone's life.

Amramp has a long history of partnering with community members to help increase accessibility for the most vulnerable of our population.

For many years we have worked with Ramp Access Made Possible by Students (RAMPS), an organization dedicated to installing ramps for mobility-impaired citizens in Richmond, Virginia, in yearly Ramp-a-Thons. Last year we worked with RAMPS to install 17 ramps in one weekend.

We also work with Rebuilding Together to build ramps all across the country.

In 2005, we provided an estimated $100,000 worth of ramps to improve accessibility for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. We have also worked with FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) to provide emergency ramps for many disaster recovery efforts, including after Hurricanes Isaac and Sandy, as well as after the tornadoes in the mid-West.

Join Amramp at a Local Event Near You!

We would love to see the many people we work with regularly and are always happy to meet those new to the field. Come to the show and be sure to stop by our booth and say "Hello".
